Building nonprofit capacity and engaging volunteers in experiences that transform both them and their communities has been core to my career. As Senior Director of Partnerships at Common Impact, I lead corporate partnerships, storytelling, and strategic alliances, all with the goal of alleviating inequality through skills-based volunteering.
Prior to joining Common Impact, I built and led volunteer engagement strategy and partnerships for iMentor Chicago. I also held leadership roles at Points of Light and Chicago Cares, managing turnkey corporate employee engagement programs and large-scale volunteer events.
I'm a lifelong volunteer and a native Chicagoan.
I've been in the corporate social responsibility and nonprofit capacity building space for most of my career, and am privileged to run Common Impact, building skilled volunteer programs for companies and their social change partners. I'm on a few nonprofit boards, Women in Innovation and Fan4Kids, and I'm a writer for Nonprofit Quarterly and a podcast host of Pro Bono Perspectives. Community engagement geek all around!
