The age old subject of volunteer t-shirts!
How are you handling distributing t-shirts to project participants? Do you hand them out before the project or on-site?
At CSAA Insurance Group, we have 3500 employees... and we enjoy 100% employee volunteer participation. We provide T-shirts to all of our employees and their guests (family/friends).
Shirts are distributed to NEW HIRES when they join the company and do their inaugural volunteer project within the first few weeks of joining the company.
We have several significant work locations: San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City, and New Jersey. Each location employees about 300 - 600 people. Shirts are stored at these locations for easy access for those employees who need a shirt. To help save on T-shirt costs, we encourage employees to use the AAA Volunteer shirt over and over again... year-after-year.
