The George H.W. Bush Points of Light Awards Celebration Inspiration Honor Roll is an opportunity to recognize individuals who make a difference in communities each day. We invite you to nominate someone who is a volunteer, used their voice and took action when they saw a need, or even a frontline worker such as a nurse or grocery store cashier. We look forward to sharing stories of the incredible people who work with our Global Network affiliates around the world.

Those honored will be included on our Awards Celebration page, and up to ten people will be selected for spotlight features that will air during the livestream event.

We encourage you to nominate individuals in your community for this honor and share the nomination form with your networks using our Inspiration Honor Roll toolkit. Be sure to submit your nomination by Aug. 31, 2020.

The George H.W. Bush Points of Light Awards Celebration will honor extraordinary individuals who demonstrate the traits of our 41st president – integrity, empathy, respect, optimism, conviction in the face of opposition and belief in the power of the human spirit. We will also celebrate and recognize people who are leading during these unprecedented times. This year, we will transition this traditional awards gala to a live stream experience, bringing hope and inspiration to audiences everywhere. The 2020 Awards will honor Hamdi Ulukaya, founder and CEO of Chobani, and Marc and Lynne Benioff, founder of Salesforce, co-chairs, TIME, in addition to everyday honorees who will be announced at a later date. Join us at 8pm EDT on Sept. 26!
